Wrendon Perry Hunt
Managing Partner and Co-Founder
Wrendon is a Houston-based Executive Search Professional who has broad C-suite, board, and investor executive search experience across the industrial sector. Wrendon focuses on asset intensive industries and the supporting service, logistical, and technological components that support these businesses. Some of his specific areas of expertise include oil & gas, power, renewable energy, process industries (ie chemicals,refining), aerospace and defense, decarbonization, EPC, infrastructure, OEMs, discreet and contract manufacturing, industrial services, and industrial automation. Wrendon draws on his management experience and cross-functional background to help clients address their most pressing talent needs.
A veteran of the search industry, Wrendon has a strong track-record of executive and board placements in both private equity and publicly traded companies. Prior to founding H&C Search, Wrendon worked for two top-tier global search firms, most recently as the Managing Director and Sector Lead for the Industrial and Manufacturing Practice. Previously, Wrendon was a core member of the chemicals & process industries, industrials, CEO, CFO, PE and CIO practices at his previous firm.
Prior to executive search, Wrendon served as a director of a Houston-based financial advisory and asset management firm. Previously, he served as a Presidential appointee and White House Fellow. In this capacity, he was a special assistant and advisor to the Secretary of Labor on workforce training and corporate engagement. Earlier, Wrendon worked for Dow Chemical Company, initially as a General Manager of a global commodity chemical line and subsequently as a Commercial Director for Dow's Solar Energy Business. He began his career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, completing two Western Pacific deployments.
Wrendon earned a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point (top 10% of class) and a master's from Harvard Business School. He is also a Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Life Underwriter® and Charter Financial Consultant®.
Jack Coker
Managing Partner and Co-Founder
For more than a decade, Jack has partnered with venture capital, private equity, and infrastructure funds investing in services and emerging technology that focus on the decarbonization of heavy industries, transportation, and sustainability.
Jack's search work has spanned both the fund and portfolio level, placing principal investors and operating partners in some of the most impactful funds in the sector including Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Energy Innovation Capital and BlackRock. Additionally, Jack has a strong track record of placing key executives in venture capital and private equity portfolio companies; amongst others, his exceptional skill at the C-Suite portfolio and board level have led to successful executive placements with Lower Carbon Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, Energy Impact Partners, Oaktree Capital, Morgan Stanley Energy Partners, BlackRock and TPG.
Jack has advised early-stage tech startups such as Electra, Windfall Bio, Rondo, Twelve, Captura, Ebb Carbon, Kairos Aerospace, Meteomatics, and growth-stage businesses like LuxWall, lon Clean Energy, Solugen, Fluitron, Syzgy Plasmonics, Array Technologies, Monolith, Navigator CO2 Ventures, Divert, Velocys, Ohmium, and Ascend Elements.
Jack earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science & Geography, and an master's degree in Environmental and Earth Resource Management. He is also a Certified in Hogan Psychometric assessments.
Luke Reilly

Luke is an experienced Executive Search Consultant specializing in Energy and Industrials. Luke focuses his practice on collaborating with venture capital and private equity investors to address their fund and portfolio needs as well as enterprises to place key executives across a variety of functional disciplines.
Luke's expertise spans a broad range of sectors, including the hydrogen economy, data center infrastructure, renewable energy, battery technology and storage, food and AgTech, EV and mobility, carbon capture, oilfield services, waste-to-value initiatives, manufacturing, and industrial services. Luke has successfully placed C-suite executives in a variety of top tier venture capital and private equity firms to include Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Oaktree Capital, Prelude Ventures, Energy Impact Partners, Apollo, TPG, Evok Innovations, and Khosla Ventures.
Luke is a proud Philadelphia native and currently calls the suburbs of Philadelphia his home. Luke earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and an MBA from La Salle University, where he also served as captain of the Explorers' baseball team. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, cooking, and supporting Philadelphia's sports teams.
Judson Hawk
Principal
Judson is a Principal with H&C where he focuses on building meaningful client and candidate relationships across the venture capital, private equity and publicly traded sectors. An engineer by training, Judson's attention to detail and thoroughness in process, combined with his passion for optimizing team dynamics drive his ability to successfully advise clients of different asset classes with varying technological and capital constraints. Some of Judson's recent clients include Andreesen Horowitz, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, TPG, Morgan Stanley Energy Partners, Blackstone and One Equity Partners. Judson's background gives him a unique focus and passion for process focused industries, which plays out most prominently in climate technology, industrial services, and manufacturing.
Prior to executive search, Judson served as a mechanical engineer with a focus on industrial clients in the battery manufacturing, chemical, and energy space. Judson holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University and currently resides in Atlanta.
Jennifer Bailey
Director of Operations and Client Services
Jennifer is responsible for establishing the foundational operations of the firm while managing key client relationships and overseeing end-to-end project execution.
Jennifer brings deep expertise in streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and delivering exceptional results for both clients and candidates. Her dedication to operational excellence and her client-focused approach make her an integral part of the firm's mission to provide top-tier executive search solutions.
Jennifer spent her early career as a Social Worker and holds a bachelor's degree in Human Services. She currently resides in San Antonio and enjoys exploring National Parks, playing pickle ball, and reading.
